Terms and Conditions
All orders are accepted on the basis that you have read, understood and agree to the following terms and conditions.
Arrival
All excursions are operated by Footsteps Tours. Footsteps Tours & Poynters Coaches accept no liability for late arrival at destination through circumstances beyond their control. Ticket refunds will not be given. Poynters Conditions of Carriage apply, which are available upon request. Errors & Omissions excepted.
Tickets
Every passenger must possess an authorised fare ticket which must have been paid for in full. The ticket is not transferable. The ticket will be evidence that the passenger accepts these bookings conditions. Tickets are valid only for the date and journey stated thereon. Tickets can only be changed by prior arrangement with Footsteps Travel, where a new ticket will be issued.
Amendments
Alterations and amendments may be allowed, depending on the relevant trip and circumstances. Footsteps Tours is under no obligation to allow amendments once a booking has been made. However, Footsteps Tours will take each matter into consideration as to whether any amendments are permitted. A £5.00 administration charge will be made for each individual ticket being amended.
Cancellation
If you wish to cancel Footsteps Tours is under no obligation to make any refund but providing you cancel no later than 14 days before the proposed journey we may without obligation refund any monies paid less £5.00 per passenger cancellation fee. Less cost of the theatre ticket/admission fee if such proves irrecoverable by Footsteps Tours. Footsteps Tours reserves the right to change any excursion or route or itinerary but not the departure time or the general destination or purpose without notice. In an event of a change to the departure time or the general destination or purpose the customer may cancel up to seven days before departure to obtain a full refund of all monies paid, which shall be the limit of Footsteps Tours' liability.
Payments & Fares
The prices quoted are per person. See our special offers for seniors (aged 60+) throughout the site.
Payment must be made within 7 days from date of order. If you payment is not received within this period Footsteps Tours reserves the right to cancel your booking.
All payments made by credit, debit card or paypal will be subject to a 2.5% surcharge.
Admissions
Unless stated in the details, the prices do not include admission to the places visited.
Late Comers at Departure
We regret we are unable to wait for late comers at departure points and at venue for return. The time of departure is shown on the ticket. No liability can be accepted for late arrival at any departure point. In this event Footsteps Tours will not be liable for any costs incurred.
Itinerary
All details on the site are correct at time of writing. Liability cannot be accepted for variations in routing due to road conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
Children
Children aged 15 or under must be accompanied by an adult on all trips.
Animals
No animals shall be carried on the coaches except one guide dog per blind passenger.
Passport
If you plan to travel on one of our continental tours, you must have a valid 10 year British passport.
Insurance
Passengers requiring travel insurance can purchase at time of booking.
Picking up Points / Groups
Passengers joining at different pick up points can not be guaranteed to be seated together on the coach. It may be possible to pick up larger groups at other points on route. Please ask for details at time of booking.
Arrival Back
For convenience we show the approximate arrival back time to Sixfields, Northampton. For Northampton town Centre, please add an additional 15 minutes onto this time and 30 minutes onto the time for Kingsthorpe.
Eg.. Arrival back 21.00hrs. Therefore, Town Centre would be 21.15hrs & Kingsthorpe 21.30hrs.
Withdrawal of Excursion
Footsteps Tours reserves the right to withdraw any excursion should there be insufficient numbers. Should a trip be withdrawn, Footsteps Travel will provide a full refund for any monies paid.
Gift Vouchers
Vouchers can only be exchanged against trips or excursions offered by Footsteps Tours.
Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.
Vouchers may be exchanged for purchases of a higher price then the face value of the voucher on payment of the difference.
Change from vouchers cannot be given.
Vouchers are valid for 6 months from date of issue.
Please keep your vouchers safe as Footsteps Tours cannot accept responsibility for the loss or theft of a voucher after it has been issued.
Footsteps Tours is under no liability should vouchers be lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed.
